In an exclusive, extensive sit-down, Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho admits that he hasn’t “fully recovered” from the racist abuse he suffered after the Euro 2020 final, which England lost on penalties to Italy. Speaking to CNN Senior Sports Analyst Darren Lewis, Sancho admitted that the online hate had “impacted” him and his teammates. The 24-year-old also said he thinks his former teammate Jude Bellingham is in contention for the Ballon d’Or and how much a Champions League win would mean to him and the people of South London.
