Are turbulences in an airplane dangerous?

71views

Steward Jay Roberts, who has been flying with an airline for a long time, reveals that turbulence during a plane flight is not dangerous.
Jay Roberts reveals that he has learned to enjoy flying, even during unpleasant turbulence, writes the Daily Mail.

He states that people should not fear turbulence.

  • I am not afraid of turbulence because I know the data about the history of flights and I know that planes do not fall due to turbulence. I know from personal work experience that the chances of encountering serious turbulence are rare. “Often, when I experience turbulence as a passenger or crew member, I experience the dips and jolts as if I were on a roller coaster and enjoy the ride,” says Roberts.
Roberts explains that turbulence gives staff a break from tracking passengers:

– It is one of the rare circumstances in which we can ignore the call bells.

Steward emphasized that severe turbulence is very rare. They can cause damage to the interior of the aircraft, and passengers and crew can suffer bone injuries.

Roberts tells passengers that they should not be afraid of shaking on the plane and points out:

– I worked as a cabin crew for 13 years on some of the longest flights in the world, passing through areas known for turbulent air and never encountered serious turbulence.
