“From what I can hear from Dimitar Kovachevski, but also from people in the DUI-led government supported by the smaller partner SDSM, the fact is that we did not receive an answer to any dilemma we publicly raised. We saw two lies and heard two lies. The first one was about the fact that behind this agreement are the governments of the two strategic partners of Macedonia, namely the USA and Turkey, but the denial from the embassy of one of these two strategic partners clearly came, and I assure the public that no government in the world, except for this corrupt and minority-supported DUI government, would intervene in agreements where we have bilateral relations between two partners. No government in the world, let alone our number one strategic partner, the USA, or our second strategic partner, the Republic of Turkey, would allow this. Believe me, it doesn’t exist. What they tried to abuse in public has caused damage not only to the state but also to our relations with these strategic partners. That’s why maybe for the first time in the history of Macedonia, the embassy of one of these strategic partners reacted publicly and said that they were neither informed nor involved in the development of this agreement which the public has not yet seen, and we, as VMRO-DPMNE, received it from whistle-blowers,” emphasized Mickoski.
