The United States has intelligence that Russia is soon planning new attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure and government facilities, a US administration official told Reuters.

– We have information that Russia is intensifying preparations and that in the coming days it will carry out attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure and government facilities. “Given Russia’s track record in Ukraine, we are concerned about the continued threat that Russian attacks pose to civilians and civilian infrastructure,” said the official, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The official also stressed that his statement was based on the assessment of the lower levels of the US intelligence services, according to the British agency.
