After the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) today accused the Ukrainian special services of the murder of the Russian journalist and political scientist Daria Dugina, the daughter of the influential Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin, the first photos of the alleged killer appeared on social networks and in the Russian media.
According to the FSB, it is about the citizen of Ukraine Natalia Vovk, who arrived in Russia on July 23, 2022 together with her daughter.
The Russian organization Project Nemesis, made up of Russian “patriot” hackers, has a website that publishes photos and personal information of hundreds of people fighting on behalf of Ukraine, including dates of birth, addresses, phone numbers, passport numbers, personal profiles on social networks and much more. They also published photos of Vovkova, as well as the “Mini Cooper” car with which she allegedly followed Dugina.
The Russian media also published a photo of Vovkova, which represents the Russian version of the events of Dugina’s murder, as well as the mentioned FSB report.
According to the “New Edition” website, the Mini Cooper car was sold to Vovkova by a man named Danil Shaban.
According to preliminary information, the suspect in Dugina’s murder was previously a member of the Ukrainian Azov Regiment. None of the above information published by the Russian media about Vovkova has been confirmed, as well as the photo.
The FSB report said that in order to organize Dugina’s murder and obtain information about her lifestyle, Vovk and her daughter rented an apartment in Moscow in the house where Dugina lived.
– It was established that the crime was prepared and carried out by Ukrainian special forces. The perpetrator is the Ukrainian citizen Vovk Nataliya Pavlovna, born in 1979, who arrived in Russia on July 23, 2022 together with her daughter Shaban Sofia Mikhailovna, born in 2010 – the FSB informs.
As the FSB points out, in order to follow Dugina, Vovkova used a “Mini Cooper” car, and when entering Russia, license plates of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic were used, in Moscow they were Kazakh, and when leaving Ukrainian.
On the day of the murder, Vovkova and her daughter were at a literary and music festival, where Dugina was an honored guest, the FSB added.
The Investigative Committee of Russia previously announced that the data obtained in the investigation show that the crime in which Dugina was killed was pre-planned and ordered.
It was determined that the explosive device was placed under the driver’s seat, and Darya Dugina, who was behind the wheel, died on the spot, according to a statement reported by Sputnik.
