Kobe Bryant enters the Hall of Fame

KOBE BRYANT, one of the best basketball players in history, will enter the Basketball Hall of Fame this year, confirmed Naismith Hall of Fame President Jerry Colangelo. The ceremony for the class of 2020 players will be held on August 29.

“This year is expected to be the most epic of the player class yet. In addition to Kobe Bryant, there are also Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan. “Kobe will get the honor he deserves,” Colangelo said.

Kobe lost his life last night in a helicopter crash in California. He and his 13-year-old daughter went to a game, and nine other people were traveling with them. No one survived the accident.

A career to remember

Bryant was considered one of the best NBA basketball players of all time. He spent his entire 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers winning five NBA championships (2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, 2010), two-time Finals MVP (2009, 2010), one season MVP (2008 ), he was selected to the All-Star team 18 times, and 11 times he was a member of the top five in the season.

He has won a gold medal with the US national team at the Olympics in Beijing in 2008 and four years later in London.

He ended his career in April 2016, having played 1,346 games breaking a number of records. With 33,643 points, he ranks fourth on the all-time scoring list, behind only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387), Karl Malone (36,928) and LeBron James (33,655). For this entire playing career, he recorded 7,047 rebounds and 6,306 assists.
